Hollywood Wax Museum (Branson)

Hollywood Wax Museum in Branson has been the most photographed landmarks in the area since it opened in 1996 with its own Hollywood version of Mt. Rushmore, including the sculpted faces of John Wayne, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Charlie Chaplin. Its recent multi-million dollar renovation has added another historic dimension to Branson's top attraction: a New York City skyline complete with the Midwest's largest primate. The landmark is located on Highway 76 at the center of the strip.

Once you step inside, you'll experience a backstage tour of the most famous screen scenes from movies and television and have the chance to step right into the spotlight with the stars. Some of the fun photo opportunities include getting inside Jeannie's bottle, riding aboard the Titanic, sitting on the bus bench with Forrest Gump, beaming onto the Starship Enterprise, wrestling with Nacho Libre, firing Donald Trump, trying your karate moves with Charlie's Angels, singing for the American Idol judges, and marrying Johnny Depp.

Hollywood Wax Museum also offers a unique Branson shopping opportunity at the Studio Store, where you'll find the Midwest's largest collection of celebrity souvenirs and memorabilia.

New this year is an enormous castle next door to the Hollywood Wax Museum with two top attractions in Branson: Castle of Chaos, the world's first 5D ride and game in one, and Hannah's Maze of Mirrors, where you find your way through hundreds of mirrored archways in a gallant quest to unlock the maze from Ugly Hetty's spell and save Princess Hannah.
